Combining campus sustainable development, learning and experimentation
It was our pleasure to have Dr. König from University of Luxembourg and two students from Arctic University. 24 students from HU joined the program.
Sustainability issues often refer to the climate change, however, we must be aware of their significant and diverse influences in our daily life as clearly addressed in Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs). This course focuses the inter dependence of the causes of sustainability issues. The concept of “Transformation”, which shows the challenges of reforming our society, the concept of “Sliced fish society”, and the approach of “Systems thinking” are important ideas for this course. This course introduces general sustainability issues in our society and next focuses on sustainability issues of university campuses.
