The conference was held in Seoul, Korea on Nov 30 – Dec 1,2018. ACCS is a network that promotes campus sustainability across Asia. ACCS has now changed its name to ASCN (Asian Sustainable Campus Network ).

Keynote Speech: Mr. Ian Patton, Chief Executive of EAUC
Professor Nakamura of Higashi Nippon International University / Vice President of CAS-Net JAPAN introduced approaches and efforts in Japanese universities. At following panel discussion, Professor Hye-Sook Park of Mie University /Vice Chair of CAS-Net JAPAN joined as one of panelists. All participants got closer at dinner afterword.

Day 2, Dec 1
In-depth discussion regarding SDGs in higher education of each country: Specially Appointed Associate Professor Ikegami of Hokkaido University joined. In Student presentation, students from 10 universities across Asia including Chiba University, Iwate University, Kyoto University, and Ritsumeikan University (presentation order) participated, Associate Professor Ozasa at Faculty of Engineering of Hokkaido University played role as a judge. Ritsumeikan University received “Excellent Incentive Award”.

There were more than 60 people across Asia including about 20 from Japan. All the faculties and students shared valuable time through presentation and discussion. The annual conference 2019 will be held at Tongji University in China.
