Tackling 21st century challenges in universities toward sustainable society:
Combining campus sustainable development, learning and experimentation
Sustainability issues often refer to the climate change, however, we must be aware of theirs significant and diverse influences in our daily life as clearly addressed in Sustainability Development Goals(SDGs). This course focuses the interdependence of the causes of sustainability issues. The concept of Transformation”, which shows the challenges of reforming our society, the concept of ”Sliced fish society”, and the approach of ”Systems thinking” are important ideas for this course. This course introduces general sustainability issues in our society and next focuses on sustainability issues of university campuses.
Dr. KÖNIG, Senior Researcher of University of Luxembourg will be one of the lecturers in 2019 also.
