“SDGs” workshop and 14th Stakeholder Meeting were held at Conference Hall at Hokkaido University on Monday, March 18, 2019.
“SDGs” workshop was held with the cooperation of URA station. With 27 students and faculties, we discussed how can we bring positive outcome by utilizing Hokkaido University’s visible / nonvisible assets (e.g. human resources, knowledge, space, education/research activities and history) to contribute SDGs. It aimed to gather ideas.
14th Stakeholders Meeting –“Hokkaido University AND SDGs”
As the sequel of last year, “Hokkaido University and Sustainable Development Goals” in response to outcomes from the workshop was discussed. An year has passed since the 13th Stakeholders Meeting, “SDGs” perception has became widely recognized in public, now, a variety of initiatives has been taken. In this movement, how Hokkaido University should contribute to the world as a higher education institute? With diverse background, with different perspective, on one ground, there was an enthusiastic discussion.
