Hokkaido University appreciates its biodiversity on campus, at the same time, takes various approaches to preserve the ecosystem. As part of the effort, “Invasive Alien Species”, Rudbeckia laciniate, had been removed on July 2. 44 people including students, Sapporo City, Specially Appointed Professor Aikoh of Research Faculty of Agriculture, Professor Tsuyuzaki of Faculty of Environmental Science, Professor Ohara of The Hokkaido University Museum, and Facility Department joined the activity.
