Sustainable Campus Management Office (hereinafter referred to as “SCM Office”) held the 2nd Sustainable Campus Management Promotion Committee Meeting online on Thursday 17 December 2020. There were 75 members participated from sustainable campus management promoters and assistants of each Dept., faculty and staff of SCM Office, and staff of Facilities Dept. Executive Yokota, SCM Director made an opening announcement, then the SCM Office reported the following subjects and had Q&A session.
The SCM Office requested cooperation about energy saving towards preventing the spread of the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19), carrying out ASSC evaluation for FY2020, and in responding to the items pointed out in the legal inspection of facilities on the premises. Also, the Office informed Campus Master Plan, direction of securing funds for future facility development, and the budget request for the coming fiscal year 2022.
In Q&A, there was an inquiry about the status of measures taken by HU regarding the “the improvement of sanitary environment in the facilities in national universities” project related to infectious disease prevention by the supplementary budget of MEXT.
Next meeting is scheduled in late June. Sustainable Campus Management Office continues to cooperate with the departments for promoting sustainable campus promotion activities.
